For whatever reason, I thought today was Tuesday ... like ALL day. Despite the craziness of this week and all the stress that has been involved, it sure has gone by fast. And I am totally okay with that because that means the weekend is here and Joey (aka daddy) is here all day!
It is just so nice to have another person here to help out if I need it ... whether it be watching the baby while I go grocery shopping or helping out around the house. Shoutout to all you single mamas out there!! You are all so amazing and deserve the world!! I could not do this without Joey.
Anyways ... moving on to my nutrition and workouts for today. I feel like I have finally gotten over the slump I have been feeling and was up bright and early this morning at 6:30 ... about 45 minutes before the baby! I actually really enjoy this time before he wakes up just to collect myself, do a devotion and just prepare for the day.
And then he wakes up and we do our usual routine ... change his diaper, fill up that belly with some milk and then I get started on my workout while he is chilling post-milk, pre-nap. Today's workout was one that seemed "easier" than usual but I sure felt the results a couple hours later when I could barely walk up and down the stairs. Such a great feeling!! I also went on an hour walk with Grayson around 10am or so ... it was raining earlier this morning so it was literally perfect weather for a walk as it was sunny but a bit brisk.
