You guys ... I feel great. SO much better than the past few days. It's still not easy and life still has it's responsibilities but overall I am doing much better. But I also do have to give credit as eating healthy and working out has a lot to do with how I feel. After working out I always feel regenerated and renewed and I feel like I can conquer anything that comes in my way. I always tell myself that I will never regret a workout ... and I never do.
Food wise today was great. I did wake up pretty hungry, but other than that, all went well and I stuck to the plan!
For all you moms out there, I have a question for ya at the very bottom of the post, so please read on! :)
okay so my lovely son decided to wake up around 6:30 this morning but chilled in his bassinet for a while before he really wanted out ... which was around 7am. So I pulled him out and played with him for a bit to "wake up his digestive system" and then I fed him as I do every morning.
After he was all fed, I went and did my morning workout which was all about abs (and arms) today. To be honest, I hate doing ab workouts. My abs are so weak! Especially after having a baby. And because of that I can't do all the moves I need to do ... which kind of bums me out because I feel like I failed the workout. I know I did the best I could, but it still just bugs me. However, I know in a few weeks or maybe even a few months I will look back and be proud because in the near future I will be able to do everything because I will be stronger. Every workout is a step towards a stronger you ... so don't get down. Be proud of what you did and keep pushing forward. You got this!
So there you have it. Day nine completed!
Okay now question for my mamma's out there ... did any of you experience a little hair loss about 3-4 months after you had your little one? For whatever reason I keep losing hair! I have heard it is common as our hormones are changing a bit, but I mean ... it's a lot of hair that's coming out. I am also still exclusively nursing. Did any of you experience this? What did you do to combat the hair loss? Thanks!!
